Smith Creamery's fresh whole milk is
pasteurized but not homogenized—so
the cream still rises to the top. Nothing is added and nothing is
removed. Just shake and enjoy!
Our slow pasturization process doesn't
cook the milk, either, so the taste, quality and health benefits
of our milks and butters are noticably better, just as nature intended
them to be.

All our milk comes from our own grass
fed cows, and we're one of two remaining family-owned-and-operated
dairies in Louisiana, with completely modern facilities. |
We
milk our own cows, then bottle our own milk, make our own
butter (salted or unsalted), Creole cream cheese and other
items in our product line,
and deliver them fresh throughout
south-east Louisiana, using our own refrigerated trucks to
supply locally owned grocery stores, fruit stands, restaurant
suppliers, and co-ops.
